On some models, the SD card may contain "reserved" MP4 files (e.g., xxxxxxxx_000000_tp00001.mp4 ) that are empty until the camera overwrites them with actual footage. 2. Accessing and Downloading Clips

Remove the microSD card and insert it into a PC or Mac. You can then copy the MP4 files directly from the card's folders to your computer for backup or editing. 3. Storage Limits and Plans

Go to the Activity tab to view cloud clips or the 24/7 Recording section under camera settings to view local footage. You can download these directly to your phone's gallery as standard MP4 files for easy sharing.

If a microSD card is installed, the camera creates a continuous stream of MP4 files.

You can manage and extract these video files through the Kasa Smart App or by physically accessing the storage:

Short videos triggered by motion or sound that are uploaded to the Kasa cloud.
