: Run the Management Server Configuration Wizard (located in the Start Menu under Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager). Select "Reconfigure the management server" to refresh the connection credentials and settings.
: Open services.msc and ensure the Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager and Symantec Embedded Database (if using the default) are both "Running." Restart them even if they appear active.
: Ensure the drive where SEPM is installed has at least 5-10 GB of free space. A full disk often causes database corruption or prevents log writing.
